A Typical Day at Paws on Park

Every day at Paws on Park runs a little differently depending on which dogs are in, how they're feeling, and what the weather's doing. But there's a general rhythm to the day that most dogs settle into pretty quickly.

Morning

The day starts with a morning walk. Depending on how many dogs are in and how well they walk together, this might be one group walk or a couple of smaller ones. Some dogs are great together on lead; others do better one on one. We figure that out as we go.

Back home, it's time to decompress - a bit of indoor play, courtyard time, and the occasional ball game. On sunny days, most of them find a patch of light and don't move for a while.

Midday

Things slow down around midday. Dogs can push through tiredness without realising it, so we make a point of encouraging a rest before the afternoon.

Afternoon

Once everyone's recharged, there's more play and interaction before daycare dogs get ready for pick-up. Boarding dogs head out for a late afternoon walk before settling in for the evening.

Updates

Throughout the day we send photo and video updates, so you can see how your dog is going without having to wonder.

Every dog is different, and we adjust the day around whoever's here. If your dog has a routine at home - specific feeding times, medications, or anything else - we're happy to work around that too.
